Many Africans, especially west Africans, who decide to live their home coutries to Europe, cross the Sahara desert and mediterranean sea. International organization for migration reports that more than 6,600 Africans have died over the past five years, mostly while crossing the sahara desert to Europe, more specifically in the sahara desert North Niger Southern Libya and Northern sudan.

This report focuses on the journey of many migrants through the Sahara desert.
