Welcome back, Hiphoppas! Today, it's all about the Benjamins!  Luchini. Cream. Dough. Cheese. Bread. Benjamins. These are all  synonyms for "money" in slang. Why is money so important in Hip Hop Culture? Artists like Kanye West, Camp Lo, The Notorious B.I.G. and Queen Latifah try to answer that question through their music. Although some rappers write songs that promote a capitalist agenda, others address it as a cautionary tale to give their audiences something to think about. I'll let you be the judge.
